QIC successfully delivered a 10-storey commercial tower at 5 Bond Street, Ringwood, VIC, adjacent to Eastland Shopping Centre, in August 2025.
The development contributed an additional 12,000 square meters of A-grade office accommodation spread over five levels, further enhancing Eastland’s commercial precinct.
The building was designed and constructed as an all-electric facility, targeting leading sustainability benchmarks including a 5-Star Green Star Buildings v1 rating. These certifications reflect QIC’s commitment to implementing best-practice sustainable development standards.
Major tenancy was secured by Eastern Health, occupying approximately 5,000 square meters across the ground floor, level 5, and level 6 to support the delivery of comprehensive day surgery and emergency care services. Additional tenants included the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and the national head office of apprenticeship network provider MEGT Australia, which occupies level 9. The building achieved full occupancy at practical completion.
The development also prioritised sustainable and active transport connectivity. It offers immediate access to Ringwood Station’s train and bus services, complemented by extensive secure bicycle parking and modern end-of-trip facilities. These facilities include change rooms, lockers, showers, and an ironing board station to promote non-vehicle commuting among occupants and visitors.
Sustainable building ratings will be finalised following 12 months of occupancy.
